Please Call Tinubu To Order, Dele Momodu Tells President Buhari

PLEASE CALL TINUBU TO ORDER, Dele Momodu tells President Buhari

Our attention has just been drawn to the recklessly dangerous publication unilaterally awarding an impossible victory to the APC Presidential candidate Chief Bola Tinubu. The said newspaper is owned by Tinubu.

Only yesterday, we all saw how thugs of the APC Chieftains and his allies took over the streets of Lagos burning ballot boxes and documents and generally misbehaving in other to disenfranchise the determined electorates.Despite all of these ugly attempts at stealing victory, the APC suffered its worst cataclysmic loss in most of the polling centers in Lagos.

The same happened in Kano. Incapable of ever being sobered by the crushing humiliation in its traditional territories, we woke up this morning to read about the pathetic and illegal lies cooked up by the Tinubu media goons

Tinubu remains the only mainstream candidate whose homebase of South West was decimated by opposition parties in Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Osun and Ekiti. Most of the Northern Governors he also expected to help him garner votes in the Northern regions failed spectacularly to deliver the badly needed votes. He failed in the South East and South South

The only candidate with the national spread is the PDP Presidential candidate, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. But as a responsible citizen and respected statesman, he will never rush to the media to claim his well deserved victory and glory after a long and torturous journey.

We hereby call on INEC and the Federal Government to cage these troublesome APC Chieftains. We have all been witnesses to their unruly behaviour as they did everything to bully and blackmail President Muhammadu Buhari in order to chicken out of the currency swap policy.

We also witnessed how they practically intimidated the President to the extent of forcing him to publicly display who he voted for in yesterday's elections. It was quite a bizarre, unfortunate and unprecedented scene to watch. We advise the President to find the courage to call the bluff of these desperate politicians who feel they can buy the whole of Nigeria...

CHIEF DELE MOMODU

With what happened yesterday, now I know, bad citizens is our problem....

From police , to Inec officials , to thugs and to people voting their own slave masters"

Tinubu Wins Presidential Election In Ekiti State

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu, has won the presidential election in Ekiti State.

Mr Tinubu won in all 16 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Ekiti State to defeat his closest rivals, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

According to results announced at the State Collation Centre, Mr Tinubu scored a total of 201,486 votes to emerge the winner of the election.

INEC officials at the state collation centre have announced the results of each of the local governments. However, the final tabulation was still ongoing at the time of this report. PREMIUM TIMES compiled the final figures from the official announcements from each local government.

Mr Tinubu’s closest rival, Atiku of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored over 25 per cent of the votes cast in the state with a total of 89,554 while Mr Obi of the Labour Party got 11,397 votes, thus unable to meet the 25 per cent requirement in the state.

In the next few minutes, Ekiti, one of Nigeria’s smallest states by population and land mass, is expected to be the first of Nigeria’s 36 states and Abuja to formally declare the final result of the presidential.

Ekiti is currently governed by the APC through Governor Biodun Oyebanji. Mr Oyebanji’s predecessor, Kayode Fayemi, is also of the APC and a key supporter of Mr Tinubu.

One popular PDP politician in Ekiti, ex-Governor Ayo Fayose, is also believed to have worked for Mr Tinubu, having joined camps with PDP governors opposed to Atiku.

Before the election, Mr Oyebanji had said the state was indebted to Mr Tinubu and would pay back with massive votes during the election.

Labour Party Calls For Cancellation Of Presidential Election

Labour Party, LP, has called for the cancellation of the ongoing presidential election as the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, cannot upload results into its server from the polling units.

The national chairman of the party, Julius Abure made the call in a statement saying that INEC has given room for doubt in the credibility of the process.

Abure, said the inability of INEC to upload results after over 12 hours is worrisome and called it electoral robbery.

He said Labour Party is shocked by the revelations emanating from Rivers state after the presidential and national assembly elections which held on Saturday; where thugs believed to be agents of the state government invaded various polling units and collation centres, took away election materials including the results sheets, manipulated the BVAS machines and uploaded fake results in to the Central portal.

We took particular note of incidences in places like Obio/Akpor, Khana, Eleme, Obigbo, Rumukoro and several other areas where Labour Party was clearly leading in virtually all the polling units with very wide margins.”

Abure also mentioned Lagos and Delta as some of the states where results are allegedly manipulated.
