Osinbajo Wins Polling Unit, Egunrege Ikenne, For Tinubu


 Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has delivered his Ward I, Polling Unit 14, Egunrege, Ikenne, Ogun State for the All Progressives Congress (APC).


Osinbajo voted in his Ikenne country home, Ikenne for the first time after his unit was transferred from Lagos State.

At the polling unit, APC polled 33 votes for the presidency, 39 votes for Senate and 32 votes for House of RepresentativesLabour Party polled nine for the presidential election and nil for both Senate and House of Representatives.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled seven, 13 and 12 for president, Senate and House of Representatives, respectively.

APC Floors PDP, NNPP, LP At Shettima’s Polling Unit



 Wild jubilation greeted the announcement of the All Progressives Congress as the highest vote-scoring party at the Shettima Kukawa Polling Unit 023, Lawan Bukar Ward, Maiduguri metropolis, where the APC Vice Presidential Candidate, Kashim Shettima, voted hours earlier.


The APC Scored 126 votes to floor the PDP which garnered 22 votes.

The presiding officer of the PU, Suleiman Abdulhamid, also announced that the New Nigeria Peoples Party and the Labour Party scored 0 votes.

The voting exercise which lasted for about six hours began two hours behind the 08:30 am schedule as officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission arrived late.

The PUNCH reports that Shettima was at the polling unit earlier but left soon after discovering that INEC officials were yet to arrive.
