Real Madrid all-time top scorers: Cristiano Ronaldo atop, Benzema in pursuit

 Real Madrid are arguably the greatest European team of all-time. 

They have won the most league titles in Spain and have a love affair with the Champions League, which they've won a record 14 times - twice as much as the next best team.

It's thus little surprise that some of the greatest players to have ever graced a football pitch put on the famous Real Madrid jersey during their careers, including some incredible goal scorers.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the club's greatest goal scorer ever, scoring 451 goals in 438 appearances. He is the only player in Los Blancos history to have scored goals at a rate of more than one goal per game and he won four Champions Leagues as well as four Ballons d'Or during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Karim Benzema is the only current Real Madrid player who makes the list for the highest goal scorers in club history. With 329 goals in 616 games, the Frenchman is the second-highest goal scorer, winning the Pichichi once and the Champions League five times. He scored 44 goals in 46 appearances in the 2021-22 season, which was his highest-scoring season ever.

Madrid's leading appearance maker of all time, Raul, sits in third place with 323 goals. He made his debut at the age of 17 and helped Real Madrid win three Champions Leagues.

2023: Tinubu Commissions Southwest Campaign Office In Ondo

 Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has inaugurated the Southwest Campaign office of the party. 

Asiwaju Tinubu was led to the campaign office by the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON. 

State chairman of the APC, Engr. Ade Adetimehin was also present. 

They were later joined by Minister of State for Transportation, Prince Ademola Adegoroye; National Secretary of the party, Senator Iyiola Omisore; and other party leaders. 

The campaign office is located beside Akure South Local Government Secretariat, Ilesa road, Akure, the state capital. 

Commissioning the campaign office immediately after the APC Presidential Campaign Rally at the M.K.O Abiola Democracy Park, Asiwaju Tinubu said Governor Akeredolu has demonstrated serious commitment to progressive politics. 

His words:”This is a serious demonstration of commitment to progressive politics, to democratic principle that we adopted as the hallmark of our own political philosophy. 

“Together, we have worked to build democracy and it has not been easy even though it is the best form of government but it is very difficult to navigate. 

“You have demonstrated with this building that you are truly committed to the developmental program of our time and of Ondo State. You have demonstrated in many areas of infrastructural development, in setting this State on the path of prosperity, manufacturing and youth development.”

Governor Akeredolu later conducted the Presidential candidate round the campaign office.

I Have Had 2 Abortions - BBNaija's Phyna Reveals On Twitter, Deletes Tweet Later

Big Brother Naija season 7 winner Phyna has admitted to having 2 abortions, IGBERETV reports.

She made this known while engaging is a Twitter spat with a fan of former BBNaija housemates. 

It began when Phyna asked her followers to gist her what's happening in the comment section.

A follower then told her that her co-star Beauty is her "mama".

Phyna responded, "Happy Mother's Day to una."

The follower told Phyna that she cant say the same for her because she is an "abortionist".

Phyna then hit back, writing: 

"Yes, I have had 2 abortions."

Then, throwing shade, she added, "But I don't do sugar daddies and force small small boys to sleep with me and hoeing around with disease at least I'm not barren due to drugs."

Few hours after the clash, Phyna deleted the tweet she admitted to having abortions. 
 

Atiku To Work Against G-5 If They Back Opposition Candidates

 The camp of a former Vice President of the country and Presidential Candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has resolved to go for broke in the current crisis rocking the party ahead of the forthcoming General Election scheduled for next month. 

Sources within the party told Saturday Telegraph that Atiku who has been under serious pressure from his supporters to damn the aggrieved governors and other stakeholders in the party by wielding the big stick is considering the suggestion. Although the Adamawa- born politician had in the past refused to yield to the pressure, he hashowever opted to move against Governor Nyesom Wike and his four colleagues considering the fact that elections are a few weeks away.

“Alhaji Atiku is gradually tilting to the advice of party leaders who have been calling on him to rein in Wike and his group. “He has been reluctant to act in the past thinking that reason will prevail but all that has changed considering the fact that elections are a few weeks away.

“The thinking within the campaign organisation and the camp as we speak today is that we need to know those for us and those against us so that we can properly plan and deploy election logistics for the election,” a source who is sufficiently close to the former number two man, said. 

On what might happen should the party fail to reach a truce among all the warring elements within it, the source who pleaded not to be mentioned said, “We will retaliate if they (G-5 governors) work against us.” According to the source, the Atiku camp is working on several measures to ensure that many of these states which are traditionally catchment areas for PDP remain so, notwithstanding the disposition of the governors who ought to be PDP leaders in their respective states.

“What we are going to do is to extract commitments from the governors and where they fail we work with other chieftains in the various states to deliver the Waziri in their various states. “Not only that, we are watching each one of them to see who will work against us. Whoever does among them will be made to suffer the same fate in other elections where they have their interest by working against their candidates in return,” the source said. He added that the campaign council will go ahead to campaign in G-5 Governors’ states should the G-5 Governors refuse to change their stance against the Atiku candidature.

This fact was confirmed by a former Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Oloye Jumoke Akinjide, who in a telephone chat on Friday confirmed to our correspondent that Atiku is billed to stop over in Ibadan on Thursday, January 19, 2023. “We (Oyo State chapter of the PDP) are expecting to host Waziri Adamawa on January 19,” the former minister said, adding that the last solidarity walk embarked upon by members during week was to shore up support for all PDP candidates including Atiku Abubakar.
