Image

According to NASA’s Center for Near Earth Object Studies (CNEOS), the asteroid now has a   1 in 32 (3.1%)   chance of impact, a sharp increase from earlier predictions. Initially discovered in December 2024, its impact probability was  1.2% (1 in 83)  before doubling to 2.3% on February 7, then rising to  2.6% earlier this week , and now hitting its highest recorded figure. These odds make 2024 YR4 the most dangerous asteroid currently tracked, surpassing even the 2004 predictions for Apophis, which had a  2.7% chance of striking Earth  before later calculations ruled it out. “This is a historic milestone,” said Richard Moissl, head of the European Space Agency’s (ESA) planetary defense office, though ESA estimates the probability slightly lower at 2.8%. 6 Countries That Are Rich But Their Citizens Are Poor

Image
Rich countries often give the illusion of a high standard of living, well-funded public services, and flourishing economies. However, that is not the case for these countries where the paradox of immense wealth contrasts sharply with widespread poverty among the citizens. Several factors contribute to this phenomenon, including wealth disparity, political instability, economic mismanagement, and a lack of wealth distribution. While a country might have natural resources like oil, gas, or minerals that generate massive revenues, the wealth often fails to trickle down to the general population. It remains concentrated in the hands of a few elite individuals. Corruption, inefficient government systems, and political conflict also hinders progress and creates an unequal distribution of resources. Let's look at some of these countries below; 1.  Qatar Qatar is one of the richest countries in the world based on GDP per capita, primarily due to its vast natural gas reserves. Howeve...

Image
Former Presidential candidate and founder of SaharaReporters, Omoyele Sowore, has said that the problem Nigeria has with Igbos is that they challenged the British real estate called Nigeria. In the video below, Sowore said the following: Nigeria never forgave the Igbos for the civil war, because Igbos challenged the real estate of the British called Nigeria. Nnamdi Kanu is a political hostage. Nigeria managed the Igbo problem through genocide. Thousands of Boko haram have been released, but government is still holding Nnamdi Kanu. The Nigerian Army are invading and burning down villages in the East under the guise of looking for IPOB, but there are villages in Katsina State under the control of bandits, with little or no Police and Army. Any adult above 17 years in the East is an endangered specie because they can be tagged IPOB at any time and dealt with. I travelled throughout the North in 2019 and 2023 during my Presidential campaign, even in bandit controlled areas, but saw n...
