Justice Alexander Owoeye approved this order on Thursday, January 16, following an ex parte motion presented by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). During the court session, EFCC's counsel, Mrs. Bilikisu Buhari, notified the court about an application in accordance with the 1999 Constitution and the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015. The application sought a warrant for Onyedikachukwu's arrest to obligate his court appearance for charges of criminal misconduct. Similarly,  the Naira depreciated to N1,550 per dollar in the official foreign exchange market. Data published by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, showed that the exchange rate for Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) rose to N1,550 per dollar from N1,549 per dollar on Tuesday, indicating N1 depreciation for the naira.   Men of the Ogun State Police Command have apprehended two suspects for using fake bank transfers to buy clothes worth N220,000 in Ijebu North Local Government Area of the state. The suspects are Opeyemi Ibrahim and Dimeji Bakare . The Police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, who confirmed the incident to DAILY POST on Wednesday, said the fake transfer was detected at the scene and an alarm was raised.
