Manchester United Star, Alexis Sanchez sentenced to 16 months in prison. Manchester United newly acquired star from Arsenal Football Club, Alexis Sanchez has been sentenced to 16 months in jail for tax fraud, but he will not be serving the prison time. He committed the tax fraud during his time at Barcelona. He defrauded the Spanish Treasury of €1million (£890,000), but he has reached an agreement with the Office of the Attorney General and the State Attorney having returned the money defrauded plus interest. The 29-year-old Chilean will not serve time in jail unless he commits a similar crime like this one in the next two years.
